5 August
Had my first pre-natal doctor's appointment on the 26th of August. Was great. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!!! Always awesome!
Paul was off from the 24th of July - 2 August so that was nice. He had Logan for the first few days while I was working before we had some family time off together. He made it to Campbell River fishing on the the 27th during the day.
On the 30th of July I took Logan down to Qualicum Beach area because there is a waterslide. Got all of the way there and then they said he was too short and doubles aren't allowed. It was very very annoying. We decided to head to Parksville and I took him to the play area and he had a blast. Then back home. On the weekend Paul, Logan, Tikka and myself headed out to Maple Lake one of the evenings to do some fishing but didn't catch anything or even get any bites.
One afternoon maybe Thursday afternoon the 3 of us tubed down the river from the condensory bridge to Lewis Park. We had a blast.
Logan and I have been doing alot of swimming at Barb's which is fun. Logan always cries whenever we leave. He loves following Gary around and is quite good at swimming around in his lifejacket!! He is really enjoying the water.
I was back to work as of this wednesday so was nice to have the whole long weekend off with my boys and a little longer.
I have been reading a tonne lately and it is great.
Logan is talking better and better every day. He loves to say "exciting" which is totally adorable as well as "not" among other things.
Not much else going on except that I am still sick. I threw up my lunch on the weekend. This morning I threw up all of my breakfast and then came in for my 12 hour shift. Good times!

Had my first ultrasound on the 20th. It was soooooooooooooo awesome. The baby was moving around alot when Paul and Logan came in to the room so that was really nice. Was good to find out if it was one baby or two!

Hello again.
Finished my last shift the morning of the 9th of July which was our 5 year anniversary. We took Logan and Tikka camping at Air Force Beach here in Comox and had a blast. We camped across the road from friends so that was great. Logan slept in the bunk and enjoyed it. Then on Saturday I took Logan to the 5 year old's birthday party at their campsite and Paul went home to do some stuff and then went out to the fish and game for a bit. We headed home again on Sunday morning and I was exhausted.
Logan and I hung out together on Monday and Tuesday. Monday we headed to Nanaimo and then stopped in Parksville for a visit with Marjorie and Jerry on the way home. On Tuesday Paula, Mike, Taryn and Nathan stopped in for a visit on their way back to Vancouver. They wanted to sleep over but were tired of being away from home with the kids so they ended up visiting for 3 hours and then taking off. Was so good to see them. Then on Wednesday he went to daycare and it was my 33rd birthday so I had the day to myself. Wednesday night Paul, Logan, myself, Barb, Gary, Shannon, Gill, and Laurel went out to Boston Pizza for supper. I ate too much but was good to go to bed not hungry for a change!!! I am now 10.5 weeks along. I have an ultrasound scheduled for the 20th to make sure everything is going good.
I am on my 2nd dayshift at work now and then I work Saturday night and Sunday night. We have no daycare for the last 2 weeks in July so it worked out that I am off Monday-SAturday next week with him and then Paul took leave from the 26-30th to watch him. I work from the 25-28 but we will have a nice long weekend all together.
Still hoping my nausea goes away in the 2nd trimester!!!

July 5
Been feeling very nauseaus and horrible lately. Hopefully it will be over in the 2nd trimester. I am 9 weeks now. I am thinking that it is a girl or twins!!! LOL. I have aversions to most foods which is horrible. I am always hungry and trying to be able to eat something.
Logan is doing well. He started getting sick last wednesday I think. Then he was at daycare on friday and then we had him all weekend. He was alright for daycare today but still isn't 100%. No more fevers though. He is a wonderful little boy. I took him to Toy Story 3 at the movie theater and he loved it. He was glued to the screen and kept his glasses on the whole movie. It was 3D. He gets in free until he is 4!!!
I went to Lilith in Vancouver on Canada day with my friend Camille. It was awesome. We missed the 1240 ferry due to piss poor planning. We were walking on but didn't leave enough time to drive to the ferry terminal. We had to take the 1500 ferry which ended up being fine. We then grabbed a bus from the ferry right to Ambleside park and went in to the concert. We got there at around 1730 so we missed most of Colbie Caillat who I don't know, then we saw Erykah Badu, Sheryl Crowe, then Sugarland and then Sarah Maclachlan. Sugarland and Sarah were amazing. We had great seats and it was a wonderful night. Then we had to wait for almost an hour for a bus to take us to the Hyatt where we were staying with our friend Elizabeth. Was so nice to get there and lay down. My feet were killing me. Then Elizabeth and Camille left the next day (friday) for their road trip east, and I bussed back to the ferry and walked on, and then drove back home to Courtenay. I was exhausted when I got home. Didn't get enough sleep but it was great.
We didn't do much on the weekend since Logan was sick and I was feeling awful too.
Paul took Logan to some Canada Day events in town here and then went to Parksville for the fireworks with Marjorie and Jerry!!!
This friday the 9th will be our 5th Anniversary. We are going to camp for 2 nights at Air Force Beach. Should be alot of fun. I know Logan will love it.
Sunday morning after church we went to Air Force Beach so Tikka could swim and we flew our Toy Story kite. Was fun!
Paul passed his biology course. He got a C+ 66% which is really good considering he was working during it and ski patrol etc!!! Way to go baby!
